The basic type MILES_QUICK_DIGITAL_OPEN describes how to open the digital audio system.
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| 0 | Don't open digital audio at all. |
| 1 | Open digital audio. On Win32/Win64, try DirectSound first, then try the waveOut drivers if DirectSound fails to load or is running in emulation mode. |
| AIL_QUICK_USE_WAVEOUT | Open digital audio, but force the use of the waveOut drivers on Win32 or Win64. |
