Miles Sound System SDK 7.2a

AIL_quick_unload

The function AIL_quick_unload unloads a sound handle previously loaded with AIL_quick_load or AIL_quick_load_and_play.

void AIL_quick_unload(
  HAUDIO audio
);

In Parameters

audio
specifies the audio handle that you wish to unload.

Discussion

You must not use the sound handle after you have unloaded it.

This function should be called for all audio handles allocated with AIL_quick_load or AIL_quick_load_and_play.

If the handle is playing, it will be stopped before it is unloaded.

Under DOS and MacOS 9, this function must not be invoked from an interrupt-based callback function.

Example files that use this function: Quick.C, Play.C
